Our Collectives bring together NGOs, government bodies, private companies, schools and funding partners together under a unifying objective: to jointly deliver programmes and support to young people. This approach uses collective impact methodology with Fight for Peace both participating in and coordinating the programmes.
UP Unity & Peace
UP Unity & Peace brings together 40 organisations and bodies to deliver programmes and support to young people across six communities in Kingston. Over 60 sessions per week are delivered, reaching 1,500 young people per year. Check out the In Focus section below for a full description of the programme.
The Pan-Newham Partnership brings together specialists in mental and sexual health, community centres, creative and sports organisations, statutory bodies and health and voluntary sector partners. The goal is to share resources and expertise and deliver more joined up, holistic support to children, young people and families across the London borough of Newham.
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
A Safer Communities Programme was established in Cape Town in 2016 serving two communities, Manenberg and Gugulethu. This programme brought together 40 organisations to collaborate on the delivery of activities, services and support to young people. In 2019, to ensure its long term sustainability, coordination of the programme was passed to a trained participating organisation, Amandla.
